How this site makes money

Some links to tours on this site are affiliate links. If you book through one, we earn a commission from the booking platform. You pay the same price.

We take part in two affiliate programs: Viator, owned by Tripadvisor, and GetYourGuide. At the time of writing, 22 of our site guides carry a link to one of them. Every other link on this site, including every source citation, earns us nothing. If we join another program, this page is updated before the first link goes live.

Affiliate links are marked two ways: a short italic notice directly below the paragraph that contains the link, and rel="sponsored nofollow" in the page source.

Nobody can buy a listing, a ranking, or a mention. No operator writes, reviews, or approves our guides, and a commission never changes what we say about access, fees, hazards, or whether a trip is worth making.

Prices and availability belong to the operator, and your booking contract is with them. Display advertising is covered separately in our privacy policy.
